Projects Are Shaping Communities: Two Case Studies
As a result of 'silo thinking', government agencies
often find themselves competing against one another for public
resources. This video provides an overview of two of NSBN's innovative
initiatives to break out of this silo-type of thinking. NSBN
is working with the City of Paramount and Paramount Unified School
District to develop new classrooms and colocated early education
and health center at Los Cerritos Elementary School. In Los Angeles,
NSBN is partnering with the Los Angeles Unified School District
and local agencies to develop the Gratts New Primary Center as
a center of its community to include housing, health care and
community services.
